Study
In most open-air shows, cushions are distributed to the audience, for comfort and to cut the humidity and cold. In ancient times, each spectator brought his own. It is therefore necessary to imagine that the Greek or Roman theaters, with their pure and mineral lines, were in reality covered with thousands of colored fabric tiles.
Tholos proposes to embody this situation in an object: a circular wooden base and 200 stackable seats, pierced in their center and fixed on 8 vertical poles forming 8 columns.
