Infinite Meeting Line, 2011
Furniture grid
Galvanized and lacquered metal

Work realized in the context of the construction of the Bordeaux Montaigne University Institute of Technology. Client: Aquitaine Regional Council.

Conceived as a modular and multifunctional system, Infinite Meeting Line serves as a physical separation between the park of Bordeaux’s Montaigne Institute of Technology and a public square. Inspired by the metal furniture pieces scattered around French urban parks - such as the Jardin du Luxembourg, in Paris - the project consists of prefabricated elements in galvanised and lacquered metal. More than a simple fence, however, Infinite Meeting Line offers a series of customisable and straightforward layouts such as benches, tables, loggias and areas to park bicycles for both students and passers-by. For a multifaceted device that questions the border between private and public.
