Kiosk, 2019
Poplar plywood, larch, lacquered steel, linoleum, polycarbonate
354 x 528 x 270 (h) cm
Installed in the hall of the FRAC Franche-Comté in Besançon, the Kiosk is a small autonomous architecture realized according to the same volumetric and constructive principles as the neighboring Studiolo. The wooden volume has a hidden service space while its external walls, composed of shelves and inclined surfaces, allow for the display of mediation documents (plans, magazines, flyers, posters, etc.) like a newspaper kiosk overflowing onto the street. Multi-functional and welcoming, the Kiosk also has a large work surface open to the hall like a refreshment stand.
