La table sans fin, 2023
Douglas fir and spruce

La table sans fin (The endless table) is a specific piece of furniture designed for a series of seven meals organized in Franche-Comté by Anne Etorre and Emmanuel Perrodin. Whether lunch or dinner, each episode is set in a different, emblematic location, whether a heritage building or a natural setting, in the territory of the Comté cheese Protected Designation of Origin.
The furniture comprises a table with 3 spruce slats, surrounded by two parallel benches. The original geometry of this table, a spiral, allows the number of guests to be extended to infinity - at least in thought. However, the sections that make up the table can be assembled in a multitude of ways, adapting to the space in which it is placed. One hundred and fifty people can sit comfortably.
